Task 6: Same scene, different perspective
Dear diary,
Yesternight sirrah Borachio wooed me to meet with him at my
lady’s windowsill. There he professed his love and whispered sweet nothing’s in
my ear. It was a magical night, and now I truly believe that I DO love him!
Nothing could be more perfect, but I swear I heard him call out Lady Hero’s
name rather then mine. Perhaps I was hearing things, why would he say her name
whilst he was with me? I shall not ponder this thought any longer, for it is
foolish and unbecoming of me; he swore his love and I shall requite his
feelings with mutual admiration. Aside from this beautiful moment, I could almost
be sure I felt eyes watching us from outside the window with soft whispers that
I was unable to decipher. Now that I look back upon that night with a new perspective,
I feel there was something off with the things I was “hearing”. I did not look upon
the reason Sirrah Borachio persuaded me to wear my Lady Hero’s gown to meet him,
but now, with my mind clear, I begin to question these odd requests. Such a spontaneous
event, in the moment amazing, but now, I believe it to be a tad suspicious. My decision
is to leave it as it is and not think on it further.
Yours truly,
Margaret
